What to Expect

Family Create is private time in the studio for you and your family to play, experiment and create something unique just like your family. This workshop includes free art making time as well as guidance on a collaborative painting (paint mixing, material exploration and layering).

❋ Intentional Structure

We blend play, experimentation and collaboration. This workshops starts with some messy art making to warm up our creativity before beginning on a collaborative painting. 

❋ Materials Used

Art is messy and we use acrylic paints among other supplies (watercolors, paint pens etc) which doesn’t come out of clothes easily. We suggest wearing things you don’t mind getting stained. 

❋ Expert Facilitation

Led by Led by Maddie Johnson a licensed family therapist and board certified art therapist. Her unique background allows her to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose and joy.

Family Create is up to two hours of private time in the studio for you and your family of up to 6 participants. If you want to add additional family members there is an added studio fee of $40 per person. This workshop includes all materials. The painting will be left to dry and be sealed. It will be available for pick up within two weeks.

Investment:

Family Create is $350 which includes the private studio time, and all materials, including the large canvas. Once dried, the canvas will be sealed and ready to be hung on your wall within two weeks.

This experience is for families of up to 6 people. If additional families want to join an additional $40 per person will be added.
