This Wednesday’s theme is Boundaries, using Inchies (tiny multimedia masterpieces).
This creative and reflective workshop that explores the idea of limits, edges, personal space, and connection through the making of inchies—tiny multimedia artworks. Though small in size, inchies offer a surprisingly expansive space for experimentation, expression, and storytelling.
Using paper, paint, drawing materials, collage, found objects, textures, and other mixed-media materials, participants will create a collection of individual inchies. Each tiny artwork can represent an edge, barrier, threshold, division, or point of connection. Participants can choose to make their boundaries bold and clearly defined, soft and permeable, or fragmented and ambiguous. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created a series of tiny multimedia masterpieces that offer a personal interpretation of boundaries.
