This Wednesday’s theme, Echo with Embroidery
This is a creative and reflective workshop that explores the ideas of repetition, memory, resonance, and the traces we leave behind like an echo through the art of embroidery. Just as an echo repeats a sound and carries it beyond its original moment, embroidery builds images through repeated stitches, allowing simple marks to accumulate into something meaningful.
The slow and repetitive nature of embroidery encourages participants to work thoughtfully and attentively. Each stitch becomes a small mark of time, with individual stitches building upon one another to create a larger image or pattern—much like an echo that grows from a single sound.
